Hyderabad: TRS party founding member and senior leader M Sudarshan Rao, aged 62, passed away due to cardiac arrest at AIG Hospital in Gachibowli on Wednesday. Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao expressed shock over the demise of Sudarshan Rao and extended his heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family members.
On the occasion, the Chief Minister lauded the former for his excellent work in the early days of separate Telangana movement. Sudarshan Rao who contested as a TRS candidate from Kukatpally Assembly constituency in 2009, has been suffering from COVID-19 for the last few days and is being treated at the hospital.
TRS working president and Minister KT Rama Rao who also expressed shock over the demise of Sudarshan Rao, recalled his two-decades of association with the latter. He said Sudarshan Rao was one of the few leaders who plunged into the separate Telangana movement and joined TRS since its inception as well as stood with the party during turbulent times. He expressed his deepest sympathies to the family members.
Ministers, MPs and legislators also extended their condolences on the demise of Sudarshan Rao and prayed for his departed soul to rest in peace.
