TRS grabs Nizamabad Mayor post, Deputy for MIM

Neethu Kiran got 38 votes and BJP candidate Lavanya secured 28 votes in mayoral elections, In Deputy Mayor elections, the MIM candidate Idris Khan got 38 votes and BJP candidate Mallesh Yadav secured 28 votes.

Nizamabad: In erstwhile Nizamabad district, the ruling TRS party captured Nizamabad Municipal Corporation and six municipalities and the Corporator from 11th Division Dandu Neethu Kiran elected as Nizamabad Mayor and 14th Division Corporator Mohammed Idris Khan as Deputy Mayor. Neethu Kiran got 38 votes and BJP candidate Lavanya secured 28 votes in mayoral elections, In Deputy Mayor elections, the MIM candidate Idris Khan got 38 votes and BJP candidate Mallesh Yadav secured 28 votes.

In Armoor municipality, TRS party councillors Pandit Vinitha elected as Chairperson and Shaik Munnabhai was elected as vice-chairman. In Bodhan municipality, TRS party councillor Thumu Padmavathi was elected as Chairperson and Bodhan MLA Shakeel’s brother Mohammed Atteshayam (Sohail) was elected as vice-chairman.Mallela Rajasri was elected as Chairperson and Gunnala Bala Bhagath as vice-chairman of Bheemgal municipality.

In Kamareddy municipality, TRS party councillors Nittu Jahnavi was elected as Chairperson and Gaddam Indhu Priya as deputy chairperson while Banswada municipality had elected Jangam Gangadhar as the chairman and Shaik Jubair as vice-chairman. In Yellareddy Kudumula, Satyanarayana was elected as municipal chairman and Mastyala Sujatha as deputy-chairperson.
