Suryapet: Rajya Sabha member Badugula Lingaiah Yadav on Monday said that the Congress leaders were deliberately indulging in mudslinging against the TRS party and its leaders unable to digest the increasing confidence in the public on the State government.

Speaking at a media conference in Suryapet, Badugula Lingaiah Yadav reminded that welfare schemes and development programmes being implemented in the State have been benefitting the common man and that it has led to building a good image to the TRS government.

Fearing that their party would lost its existence, if this was continued, the Congress leaders were wantonly levelling baseless allegations on the government and ruling party leaders to tarnish their image, he added.

Stating that the Congress leaders do not have a right to talk against the TRS government, he pointed out that Revanth Reddy was caught red handed in note for vote scam and Komatireddy Venkat Reddy acted like a goon in the Legislative Assembly by flinging a microphone at the Chairman of Legislative Council Swamy Goud.

Strongly refuting the allegations made by the Congress leaders against Minister for Power and SC Development G Jagadish Reddy, the Rajya Sabha member reminded that it was the Congress leaders, who provoked farmers to staged dharnas and filed cases in the courts when the government was planned to construct Suryapet district Collectorate in Survey No. 671 near Nalla Cheruvu in the town.

Stating that Suryapet Assembly Constituency has witnessed rapid development in the last three and half years, he reminded that Jagdish Reddy has brought Rs 1500 crores for development of the Constituency.

The gimmicks of the Congress leaders would not work out, Jagadish Reddy would again from Suryapet Assembly Constituency with 40,000 majority in the next elections.
