Hyderabad: The Telangana Rashtra Samithi New Jersey team launched the TRS NRI campaign with its North East core team members under the leadership of TRS NRI coordinator Mahesh Bigala.
The core team members from New Jersey, Pennsylvania and Delaware attended the TRS-NRI election campaign kickoff meeting and passed a few resolutions as well.
The resolutions included a ‘Shradhanjali’ to former Indian Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee and also observed a moment of silence for victims who lost their lives in the Kerala floods.
Mahesh Bigala spoke in detail on the TRS government’s developmental activities and conveyed Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao’s message to all NRIs. He also invited the TRS-USA team members to play an active role in the forthcoming elections, stating that NRIs could influence the results due to the latest proxy voting rights for NRIs after the bill was passed in Rajya Sabha. Bigala also requested the TRS-USA team to be active with the campaign on social media.
He also requested the TRS-USA members to donate generously to support Kerala flood victims.
TRS NJ incharge Mahesh Pogaku, TRS-USA Convener Srinivas Ganagoni, TRS-Media In-charge Devender Reddy, Mahesh Tanneru, Vengal Jalagam, Ravi Dhannapaneni, Arvind Takkalapalli, Sreedhar Gudala, Ram Mohan Chinnala, Arun Arkala, Krishna Siddhada, Dasharath Reddy, Bhaskar Pinna and Sai Somishetty were among those present.
