TRS UK, Jagruthi raise reservation issue at Modi event in London

Hyderabad: Members of the Telangana Rashtra Samithi’s United Kingdom unit and Jagruthi UK, holding placards on the reservation issue in Telangana, gathered in front of the British Parliament where Prime Minister Narendra Modi presented his ‘Bharat ki Baat, Sabke Saath’ on Wednesday.

The NRI TRS UK and Jagruthi UK members were demanding reservation in Telangana based on the State’s population. Raising placards, they also requested the amendment of the Article 16 (4) of the Constitution allowing States to increase reservation based on their population metrics.

The gathering included NRI TRS UK secretary and spokesperson Srujan Reddy Chada, Suman Balumuri, Uday Nagaraju, Vamshi, Lambeth ex-Mayor Saleha Jafar, Goli Suman Sravan and others.
