Silicon Valley/Hyderabad: The TRS-USA held its second national conference in Bay Area of Silicon Valley of California State on Sunday.
Speaking on the occasion, TRS NRI coordinator Beegala Mahesh Gupta called for establishing TRS NRI units in Denmark, United Kingdom, New Zealand, and other countries. The participants wore handloom textiles in support of Telangana Government’s efforts to support handloom sector.
The unit paid respects to the departed leaders of Telangana, Prof. Jayashankar and irrigation advisor Vidyasagar Rao and hailed their services to the cause of Telangana.
TRS-USA founder Mashesh Tanneeru, Nagendar, Mahipati and Rajinikanth K launched the Facebook page of TRS- USA and its logo on the occasion. Later speaking Mahesh Tanneeru asked the participants to popularise different developmental and welfare activities of the Telangana Government.
He said the newly formed State of Telangana had already become a role model for other States because of its rapid development.
The meeting passed resolutions congratulating the Telangana Government under the leadership of K. Chandrshekhar Rao and its welfare activities.
TRS- USA leader Poorna Bairi, who presided over the meeting, said it was a happy occasion to organise the second National Conference.
Among the other speakers were Chandu Thalla, Vengal Jalagam, Sakru Nayak, Bindu Cheedella, Narasimha Nagalavaancha, Mashesh Pogaaku, Tony John, Mohan Goli and Krishna Bommidi.
