Hyderabad: The Telangana State Engineering Common Entrance Test (TS-ECET) which was conducted on Saturday had technical glitches. The entrance test which was supposed to be held from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. had to be re-scheduled from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. due to technical issues.
A total of 25,139 had registered for the entrance test and of which 24,424 had appeared at 81 test centres across the State.
The Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University-Hyderabad had been entrusted to conduct the entrance test. Repeated efforts to reach Prof. A Govardhan, convener, ECET for clarification provided futile.
The ECET is held for lateral entry into BE, BTech and BPharmacy courses for diploma holders and for BSc mathematics candidates.
