Hyderabad: The Telangana government instructed its departments on Friday to publish the status of all applications received on a real-time basis in the public domain, in an effort to improve the Ease of Doing Business (EODB).
The government also amended the TS-iPASS system to include 34 services, which will help investors establish and operate their units. A GO issued in this regard also mandated time-bound delivery of all government services.
In all, the Telangana government provides 30 online services under the TS-iPASS Single Window System and another 28 services through online portals of respective departments.
According to the orders issued on Friday, the government included 34 more services under TS-iPASS. In case of a delay in reaching prescribed timelines, an automated SMS or email notification should be sent to the respective heads of departments along with the status of applications.
Further, the government also revised the time frame for services offered, and if the departments concerned fail to take a decision on the applications, they will be deemed approved. Certificates issued to the units in this manner will be binding on all departments concerned.
Meanwhile, the officials were told to ensure that the allocation of Inspectors must be done through a computerised system and the inspection report should be made available on the TS-iPASS website with provision to view or download. The computerised system will also ensure that the same Inspector is not allocated at one establishment twice consecutively to ensure transparency.
