TSDPS predicts light to moderate rainfall in Hyderabad for next three days

Hyderabad: After the heavy rainfall on Friday night followed by moderate rainfall on Saturday, the intensity of monsoon has came down on Sunday with only a couple of parts in the city receiving light rainfall.

Except Secunderabad, which has received a rainfall (4.5 mm), most parts of the city either remained cloudy or witnessed slight drizzle today, according to Telangana State Development Planning Society (TSDPS).

During the last 24 hours in and around Hyderabad, the highest rainfall of 43.6 mm was recorded at Patancheru and across the State, maximum rainfall of 90.8 mm was received at Lokeswaram in Nirmal district.

The weather forecast with TSDPS said that light to moderate rain/ thunderstorms were expected at a few places in Greater Hyderabad for the next three days. Maximum temperatures were expected to be in the range of 30 degree Celsius to 32 degree Celsius while the minimum temperatures could be in the range of 21 degree Celsius to 23 degree Celsius.

Meanwhile, conditions were becoming favourable for withdrawal of southwest monsoon from west Rajasthan and adjoining areas in the next 24 hours, according to Meteorological Department, Hyderabad.
