TSPSC releases results for 3,375 vacancies of TRT

Hyderabad: The Telangana State Public Service Commission (TSPSC) on Thursday released results for 3,375 vacancies of Teacher Recruitment Test (TRT)-Secondary Grade Teacher (SGT) Telugu medium out of a total 3,786 that were notified.

The list of candidates who were provisionally selected was released on its website www.tspsc.gov.in.

Of the total vacancies, the result for 411 vacancies was pending due to various reasons.

The result for 269 Physically Handicapped (PH) vacancies is pending for receipt of medical reports/further pickup/interchangeability of category of PH, the Commission said in a press release adding that another 73 vacancies remained unfilled due to non-availability of eligible candidates in BC-C and ST (W) agency.

The PSC said 23 vacancies were kept vacant due to pending court cases and 46 vacancies were unfilled due to consequential effect of claim of agency of candidates selected in the agency area.

Results for a total of 7,485 vacancies in 45 categories under the TRT have been released as on April 4, 2019, the PSC said.

TSPSC, Chairman, Prof Ghanta Chakrapani thanked the Commission staff members who put in a lot of efforts in finalizing the result and also for their dedication towards the work.

Meanwhile, the PSC has released a list of candidates provisionally shortlisted for interviews for recruitment to junior lecturer posts in junior colleges in residential educational institutions societies. The candidates were selected based on the written examination followed by verification of certificates. The interviews will held be from April 16 at TSPSC office.

Candidates who are provisionally admitted for interviews should carry hall ticket, three passport size photographs and verification certificate issued by the Commission, failing which they will not be admitted in subsequent process of selections.

The PSC instructed candidates to exercise web options for zonal preference through the website from April 9 failing which their candidature would not be considered for selection. More information can be obtained from PSC website.
