TSRTC bags fuel conservation awards

Hyderabad: Telangana State Road Transport Corporation (TSRTC) has bagged several awards at Fuel Conservation Awards programme held by Petroleum Conservation Research Association along with Association of State Road Transport Undertakings on Friday.

Chief Secretary, Somesh Kumar presented the second-best State Transport Undertakings Award with a cash prize of Rs 3 lakh to TSRTC Managing Director, Sunil Sharma for having achieved second highest improvement in fuel efficiency at national level.

In addition, Best Depot Awards were presented to Dilsukhnagar, HCU and Musheerabad -II depots for the highest improvement in fuel efficiency at State level with a cash prize of Rs 50,000 for each depot.

Sharma appreciated officers and employees on achieving esteemed awards. “Previously, the organisation had achieved awards in productivity, road safety and fuel conservation and brought laurels to the corporation,” he said.
