Hyderabad: The members of Telangana Udyogasri Dental Hospitals Association (TUDHA) on Wednesday met Health Minister; Eatala Rajender and sought his intervention to ensure Network Dental Hospitals in the State start offering their services to beneficiaries under Employee Health Scheme (EHS) and Journalists Health Scheme (JHS).
“Our major concern is related to the procurement and use of PPE and other disposable items through EHS and JHS schemes. We request to you to look into the issue so that we can resume our operations as soon as possible. We will ensure safety to patients, hospitals and the staff. As network dental hospitals, we also look forward for proper guidelines and SOPs from the authorities,” president, TUDHA, Dr. N Vinod Gandhi said.
The TUDHA members have urged the State government to release claims on regular basis so that the finances don’t cripple the dental hospitals and clinics. They also urged authorities to include insurance facility for dentists working in various network hospitals on par with doctors from other specialities.
