Hyderabad: The Saroornagar police on Thursday arrested two persons who were allegedly involved in the killing of Sandasari Vinay Kumar, 51, of Gowlipura in Saroornagar a week ago. Two other suspects are absconding.

The arrested persons were Boju Sandeep Kumar, 31, and Katharu Sai Srinivas Prasad, 27. Two other suspects- Santosh and Quddus – are absconding, police said, adding that a car, a motorcycle and a knife used in the offense were seized.

The victim, Vinay Kumar, had an argument with one Sai Kiran over profits the latter made in a smartphone sale deal. The argument went on and a week ago Sandeep asked Vinay Kumar to come to P & T Colony, where he along with two other suspects stabbed Vinay Kumar to death, said E Srinivas Reddy, SHO, Saroornagar.

Quddus had helped the trio by giving his car, liquor and t-shirts, police said, adding that the arrested persons were produced before the court and remanded in judicial custody.
