Two dead, five injured in accident on Hyderabad ORR

Hyderabad: Two persons died and five suffered injuries, after two cars collided on the Outer Ring Road near Pedda Amberpet under the Hayathnagar police station limits on Thursday.

The deceased were identified as Abhishek (19), an engineering student from Nadergul and Mahesh (20), a resident of Manneguda.

“The incident occurred around 6 pm, when Mahesh, the driver of one of the two vehicles, hit the divider after reaching Pedda Amberpet and went on to hit the other vehicle, which was heading towards BN Reddy Nagar,” said Narender Goud, Inspector, Hayathnagar.

Based on a complaint, police have registered a case and the bodies were shifted to Osmania General Hospital morgue for autopsy. The injured victims were shifted to nearby private hospital and are undergoing the treatment. The condition of two of them was stated to be critical.
