Two Karimnagar girls receive Rythu Bandhu cheques

Karimnagar: For a surprise, two children were also received Rythu Bandhu cheques at Narayanapur village of Gangadhara mandal on Wednesday.

Nalla Rajitha (9) and his sister Sravanthi (7) received Rs 1,000 cheque each and passbooks from local MLA Bodige Shoba as they owned ten guntas land each.

The girls got eligibility for Rythu Bandhu scheme as 20 guntas of land owned by their mother Kamala was transferred onto their names.

Two years ago, Bhoom Reddy, father of the girls, made application for the transfer of the land after the death of Kamala. But, application was kept pending as Bhoom Reddy got sick. It was cleared in land purification process and the land was transferred to the names of the two girls.
