Two students killed in road accident near Choutuppal

According to Choutuppal rural police, the mishap occurred when the motorcycle rammed a parked SUV near Toopranpet.

Yadadri-Bhongir: Two students were killed in a road accident on National Highway 65 near Toopranpet village of Choutuppal mandal in the district on Thursday evening.

The victims were identified as Alluri  Shyam Sunder (20) and Edula Sai Kiran(21), natives of Malkapuram village in the district. They were students of a private degree college in Hyderabad.  The accident occurred when the two were returning to their native place on a motorcycle after attending to work at Kothagudem village.

According to Choutuppal rural police, the mishap occurred when the motorcycle rammed a parked SUV near Toopranpet. The two died on the spot. It is suspected that speeding and negligent riding may have caused the accident. The bodies were shifted to Area hospital at Bhongir for postmortem. Choutuppal Rural Police filed a case.
