Two teenage girls, woman, go missing in Telangana

Sangareddy: Two teenage girls and a woman went missing under Patancheru Police Station in two separate incidents in Sangareddy district on Tuesday.

According to Sub-inspector of Police, Patancheru, M Praveen Kumar Reddy, Akuala Sravanthi (17) and Chakali Gayathri (17), residents of Alwin Colony, left their home on Tuesday informing their parents that they were going to Government Junior College, Patancheru. As they failed to return home even by late night, their parents approached the police. A case was registered and an inquiry is on.

Meanwhile, another woman, a software employee, went missing on the same day. The victim identified as P Shivani (24), a resident of Defence Colony, Patancheru, left her home for a job interview on Wednesday morning. In the evening she made a phone call to her friend, Sai Kiran Reddy, who dropped her at Defence Colony. This was recorded in CCTV footage. When Sravani did not reach home, her father lodged a complaint with the Patancheru police.
