Visakhapatnam: Former MP Undavalli Arun Kumar may join the YSR Congress Party and even to be inducted into the Cabinet if the party comes to the power.

According to a fly on the wall, YSRCP president YS Jaganmohan Reddy was said to have made a suggestion to this effect and the former MP, who was a follower of late YS Rajasekhara Reddy and a strong critic of the ruling Telugu Desam Party, is reportedly to have replied that they could talk about it once the results are declared.

According to several poll surveys, YSRC is speculated to come to the power with a bag of 100 seats or so which would mean that the TDP and others in the remaining 75 seats could emerge as a strong opposition.

And with Chandrababu Naidu with four decades of experience–as a CM and also leader of the Opposition, might become a thorn in the flesh of the YSRCP in such a situation, a knowledgeable and shrewd leader like Arun Kumar would be able to take on the opposition in the role of a minister for legislative affairs, observers opine.
