Union secretariat team visits Telangana

Hyderabad: Union Secretariat Services Department officials on Monday visited Telangana State Secretariat and interacted with the State Agriculture Principal Secretary C Parthasarathi on the various programmes being implemented in the State, particularly in the agriculture sector.

The department officials explained the State government programmes though a power point presentation to the delegation. The delegation was appraised of various State schemes such as loan wavier, Rythu Bandhu scheme, construction of godowns, round the clock free power supply to farmers, construction of irrigations projects, strengthening of seed sector, reforms brought in marketing department, implementation of E-NAM and providing insurance to farmers.

Parthasarathi said the Union secretariat officials team raised several questions on Rythu Bandhu and farmers insurance scheme. Agriculture Commissioner Dr M Jagan mohan, Horticulture Commissioner L Venkatram Reddy and other officials also participated in the interaction session.
