Women entrepreneurs and activists participated in large numbers in the unique multi-activity programme organised by the V3 Ladies Club and SK Events in the city.
The event also had a lifestyle exhibition and distribution of material for needy kids. Successful women entrepreneurs shared their experiences in starting their businesses and challenges they faced. It was followed by an engaging stressbuster session.
Representatives of various NGOs working in key areas also participated and distributed needful stuff among the kids. Informative lectures were delivered for aspiring women entrepreneurs and social entrepreneurs during the programme.
Suchita Joshi, SK Events founder, said that women, especially homemakers, can contribute a lot to the society by taking up several social entrepreneurial tasks and the programme was designed to fulfill that need.
An exhibition of Kashmiri suits, Indian designer wear, jewellery and ornaments was the main attraction of the event.
