UoH Faculty among the top 3% of the world’s most accomplished individuals

Dr Banavoth's biography is now amongst the top three per cent of the world's most accomplished individuals, according to a press release.

Hyderabad: The biography of Dr Murali Banavoth, faculty at School of Chemistry in University of Hyderabad (UoH) has been selected and included in Marquis Who’s Who in the World publications for his significant contributions to the solar energy research, which is recognized internationally. Dr Banavoth’s biography is now amongst the top three per cent of the world’s most accomplished individuals, according to a press release.

Established by Albert Nelson Marquis over 117 years ago, Marquis Who’s Who publication comprises the coverage of the lives of today’s leaders and achievers from both the United States and around the world and from every significant field of endeavor.

Dr Banavoth joined as an Assistant Professor at School of Chemistry, UoH. Obtaining his Ph.D, from Indian Institute of Science, he moved to King Abdullah University of Science and Technology (KAUST) at Solar Center as a post-doctoral associate and carried out pioneering work in the field of hybrid functional materials for solar harvesting, the release added.
