V Ravinder takes charge as Warangal Police Commissioner

Vishwanath Ravinder said that he will strive to get ‘safe and secure’ tag for the Warangal city, the second biggest city in the State.

Warangal Urban: Dr Vishwanath Ravinder has taken charge as the commissioner of police, Warangal, from the outgoing commissioner G Sudheer Babu at police commissionerate in Hanamkonda here on Monday.

Prior to this posting, he worked as joint commissioner of police traffic, Hyderabad.

Speaking on the occasion, Ravinder said that he will strive to get ‘safe and secure’ tag for the Warangal city, the second biggest city in the State.

“The complainants would get immediate response from us and we will try providing assistance to them at the earliest,” he added.

He also said that plans would be prepared to address the traffic issues to be arisen in the days ahead as the city is poised to become the centre of employment as the factories and industries would be set up here.

Meanwhile, Warangal Urban and Rural Collectors Amrapali and Haritha, GWMC commissioner VP Gautham,  DCPs, ACPs and others have called on the new police commissioner.
