Nalgonda: Vehicles will be allowed to enter Andhra Pradesh at the inter-State border check-post at Wadapally in Nalgonda district only between 7 am and 7 pm.
Superintendent of Police A V Ranganath, in a media communiqué, advised people who wanted to go to Andhra Pradesh to take the Wadapally check-post route since AP officials were not allowing vehicles into their State through Nagarjuna Sagar-Macherla check-post on grounds that it was not an integrated check post.
The AP police were allowing vehicles of people who get permits through Spandana app into their State only during the fixed timings, he said. People who reach AP border after 7 pm will be forced to halt at the place till 7 am the next day. Hence, people should avoid journey to AP through Nalgonda district late in the evenings, he said.
