Vijay Deverakonda bags a key role in another biopic

The actor is all set to don Jagan Mohan’s role in 'Yatra'.

Hyderabad: Looks like Mahi V Raghav loved the trailer of NOTA which has Vijay Deverakonda as a leader and a Chief Minister. Mahi has roped in Vijay to play YS Jagan Mohan Reddy for ‘Yatra’, the biopic on late YS Rajasekhara Reddy.

The news is going viral and fans have mixed feelings about it. Earlier, it was in news that actor Karthi was chosen to play the role. But, things have been changed.

Seeing ‘Arjun Reddy’ as Jagan Mohan Reddy is something fans didn’t even imagine and they were waiting for the makers to reveal who the actor is. And when finally the news is out, they seem surprised. Let us wait and see what more do the makers have on the cards for us.

Initially, the film was slated for a release on January 9 but now, the makers have decided to release it on December 21, on the birthday of YS Jagan Mohan Reddy.

Malayalam superstar Mammootty is playing the YS Rajasekhar Reddy and ‘Baahubali’ actor Ashritha is playing Vijayamma. Composer K Krishna Kumar has provided the score for the film. Shiva Meka is presenting the film, while Vijay Chilla and Shashi Devireddy are producing it on 70mm Entertainments.

The film also has Jagapathi Babu, Suhasini, Anasuya, Posani Krishna Murali, Rao Ramesh, Sachin Khedekar, Vinod Kumar, Jeeva, Prudhvi and others in vital roles.
