Village special officers asked to list out problems

The Collector called upon the officers and local public representatives to work in tandem to achieve overall development in the villages.

Siddipet: District Collector P Venkatrami Reddy directed the special officers appointed to each village under Gajwel Constituency to prepare a comprehensive report on the issues pertaining to villages.

The Collector said that Joint Collector and Special Officer, GADA (Gajwel Area Development Authority), M Hanumantha Rao had brought several issues to his notice, which would be addressed on priority.

He called upon the officers and local public representatives to work in tandem to achieve overall development in the villages. Saying that they had appointed special officers to a majority of villages under the Constituency, Venkatrami Reddy said that they would appoint special officers to rest of the villages.

He assured the citizens that they would not take more than 10 days to address any issue pertaining to Gajwel Constituency. The Collector inspected the under construction integrated office complex, double bedroom houses and auditorium in Gajwel town.

The State government had granted Rs 6 crore to construct a massive auditorium in the heart of town. Venkatrami Reddy also discussed with Suddala Sudhakar Teja, Advisor to State government’s Architecture, over the progress of the works of auditorium and integrated complex. Gajwel RDO Vijyendar Reddy and others were present.
