Warangal CP lauds efforts of NITW staff for developing greenery

Warangal Urban: Warangal incharge police commissioner P Promod Kumar along with Chief Conservator of Forests (CFF), Warangal, MJ Akbar has visited the campus of the National Institute of Technology (NIT) Warangal here on Saturday and planted saplings.

Speaking on the occasion, the CP has lauded the efforts of the authorities of the NIT for developing green cover at the campus. “I am very much delighted to see the lush green campus, and I must appreciate the authorities, staff members and their family members for their role in developing the greenery,” He added that NITW is an inspiration for many other academic institutions.

NIT Director Prof N V Ramana Rao asked the faculty members to join hands together to make the campus more clean and green campus in the country.  Later, the CP, CCF, Director and other staff members visited the Miyawaki forest developed in two acres of land.
