Warangal: Freedom fighter donates one month pension to CMRF

Warangal Rural/Urban: Pendem Rajamouli, a resident of Narsampet town, a freedom fighter, donated his one month pension of Rs 29,900 to the Chief Minister Relief Fund to combat the coronavirus disease. He handed over the cheque to local MLA Peddi Sudharshan Reddy at the latter’s office in Narsampet on Monday.

Speaking on the occasion, Rajamouli said that he decided to part with his one month pension as the MLA had donated his two-month salary to the CMRF.

Meanwhile, the members of the Kamma Seva Sangam handed over masks, gloves and sanitisers worth Rs 60,000 to GWMC commissioner Pamela Satpathy for the benefit of the sanitary workers and other field staff.
