Warangal: Rice distributed to people without ration cards in Narsampet

Meanwhile, Progressive Recognised Teachers Union (PRTU) has handed over essential commodities to 225 people including migrant labourers in Warangal Rural and Urban districts on Friday.

Warangal Rural/Urban: Narsampet MLA Peddi Sudarshan Reddy has distributed 50 quintals of rice to the poor, daily wage earners and migrant labourers without ration cards at Narsampet in Warangal district on Friday. The rice was collected  from the villagers at Khanapur village.

Meanwhile, Sudarshan Reddy has also handed over masks and sanitisers worth Rs three lakhs to the people at Budaraopet village.

Speaking on the occasion, he appreciated donor of the masks and sanitisers Avula Karunakar.  “There are several people who don’t have ration cards, and  there are also migrant labourers and daily wage earners in Narsampet. There is a need to help them. I appreciate the donors for coming forward to donate the rice,” he added.

Meanwhile, Progressive Recognised Teachers Union (PRTU) has handed over essential commodities to 225 people who include migrant labourers from Bihar, Chhattisgarh and Odisha in Warangal Rural and Urban districts on Friday.

Police Commissioner V Ravinder has handed over the essentials to people at the programme organised by the PRTU. PRTU Warangal Urban district president Pingili Ram Reddy and others attended the programme.
