Own these items in your wardrobe and you would not have to stress over what to wear, ever again.

Little black dress
It’s the most essential apparel to be included in your closet and if this is missing, you better run out to get one. From funerals to various parties, this LBD will come in handy. Depending on the kind of dress you like and also your body type, find your perfect LBD.

White above the waist
Every woman should have a crisp white shirt with pleats, Peter Pan collar, kurta with intricate embroidery of chikankari and a basic tee. “White is elegant, chic, very classic and indispensable for one’s capsule wardrobe,” says Sayendri Panchadhyayi, a freelance fashion writer. It never goes out of fashion and goes well with anything.

A perfect black pant
You need to have that one perfect smart-fit pant in your wardrobe. They are an investment since they never go out of trend, and complement anything you match them up with. You don’t have to worry about your body type, as these can serve you for years. It’s the best alternative to jeans.

High heels
They say that good shoes take you to good places. Therefore, something nude or black is recommended for your wardrobe must-haves. A classic pump or a strappy sandal is what you must look out for; they are a fit for every occasion.

Accessories
These add-ons can really enhance your outfit. They might be the tiniest of what you are wearing but if you go wrong on them, it can be a spoiler. Reserve a basic statement necklace or even a silk scarf to pump up your style.

Patiala
“I think this is something every Indian would agree to and it’s comfy, reasonable, it’s in, and has endless option for what to match it up with,” says Aso, a student from St Mary’s. You can get colourful with this, but black or white is what we recommend. You can wear it to college, malls or even make it your pyjamas.
