The creative brains for Chennai Police have been on an all-time high since the lockdown. From colourful corona helmets to message driven paintings on the roads, these police personnel have left no stone unturned to spread awareness about the virus.

Continuing the same spirit, Chennai Police have come up with a new and an effective novel idea on creating fear about the grave situation to those violating lockdown norms.

In a video that is going viral today, three young men can be seen triple riding without masks or helmet and are caught by the police. While the police first try to talk to them but as the young don’t take the situation seriously, the police personnel push them into an ambulance inside which a person pretending to be a corona patient is resting on a stretcher.

As the fear of being close to a person with coronavirus sinks in, the young boys refuse to go inside the ambulance. Adding to that, the ‘corona patient’ inside the ambulance coughs and wakes up to catch these violators. The boys can be seen making desperate attempts to get out of the ambulance and get away from the ‘patient’. They even jump off the ambulance.

With the background sounds of them calling out for their mothers to save them and renowned Tamil comedian Vadivelu’s voice saying ‘he is unable to understand where to jump from’, the video humorously shows the consequences to be faced by the violators if found on roads without adhering to lockdown precautions.
