Telangana: Waters released to Lower Manair Dam from Mid Manair Dam

While 6,000 cusecs is being released from MMD, reservoir is receiving 2.100 cusecs inflow from Gayatri pump house wherein two motors have been operated to release water into MMD.

Telangana: Waters released to Lower Manair Dam from Mid Manair Dam

Rajanna-Sircilla: Water from Mid Manair reservoir has been released into Lower Manair Dam on Wednesday. 6,000 cusecs water has been released by lifting three crest gates.

Besides a reverse sluice gate, 14,15, and 16 number gates were lifted to let off water into the downstream. 24.64 tmc water is available in the project as against its storage capacity of 25.87 tmc.

While 6,000 cusecs is being released from MMD, reservoir is receiving 2.100 cusecs inflow from Gayatri pump house wherein two motors have been operated to release water into MMD.

On the other hand, water level in LMD was reduced following the release of water into the downstream through Kakatiya canal. 5,300 cusecs water was been released. At present, 7.979 tmc water is available in LMD as against its storage capacity of 24 tmc.
