What not to wear in summer

People tend to get over enthusiastic with what they wear. Too cropped, too high or too inappropriate! Luckily, this can be avoided with a little self-monitoring.

summer

It’s that time of the year, where we can flaunt our cute dresses and get in shape just to be on point with our summer fashion. But, a few people tend to get over enthusiastic with what they wear. Too cropped, too high or too inappropriate! Luckily, this can be avoided with a little self-monitoring.

Here are a few ways to escape the wrath of the fashion police:

Way too cropped

Your crop tops are totally acceptable but do not go wild with this style. Too much of it doesn’t help you with the heat or fashion. Keep them aside for specific events. When it comes to daily wear, crops tops can be your best friends this summer, when done right.

Special attention

Though the company you work for is quite relaxed about the dress code, it is not appropriate to wear certain types of dresses to work. Make sure you don’t go overboard with your casual wear on Friday. Yes, it is very tempting to wear that super chic mini-skirt on an incredibly hot day but, save it for the party.

Do not forget footwear

It’s time for the heavy muzzled footwear to take a back seat. That doesn’t mean you can roam around in your flip-flops. Just make sure your feet are open enough so they get air and choose accordingly. It is not just about fashion, flip-flops can lead to severe tan and sunburns, and direct sun light is not very good for your favourite leather shoes.
