The city witnessed summer rains with intensity in early hours accompanied by thunder and lightning.

Seethaphalmandi received the highest rainfall of 72.8 mm, followed by

Bansilalpet              - 67 mm,  Brgumpet                - 63.1 mm, West Marredpally  - 61.8 mm, Alwal                        - 59.3 mm  Balanagar               - 54.3 mm.

Minimum temperature of the city dropped to 19.6°C at morning – 7°C departure from normal.

IMD - Hyderabad  has issued yellow alert to few districts of the state for the next four days indicating light to moderate rain or thundershowers.

Districts including Hyderabad, Rangareddy, Kumaram Bheem Asifabad, Vikarabad, Sangareddy, Mancherial, Medchal-Malkajgiri, Nagarkurnool, Nalgonda, Suryapet, Khammam, Mulugu, Mahabubabad, Karimnagar, Bhadradri Kothagudem, Jaishankar Bhupalapalli, and Peddapalli were issued yellow alerts.
