Artistic push to 'Project Punarjeeva'

Around 50 artists from Telangana and Andhra Pradesh visit Kakatiya-era temples to understand their history, uniqueness, and artistic excellence

Titled 'Project Punarjeeva', the initiative was organised by Kalayagnya and TORCH to raise awareness on ancient sculptors  and draw attention to the need  for preservation and restoration  of temples

Effort aimed at showcasing heritage wealth to future generations

Artists visit Ganapuram Kotagullu temple, Ramappa Temple and Chandravelli temple and create stunning sketches

Renowned historians Aravind Arya and Katta Srinivas, Telangana State Archaeology Department Assistant Director Mallu Naik, sculptor Raghuveer, and artist Shesha Brahmam explained the artists about temples' history

Art exhibition featuring these sketches will soon be organised in Hyderabad

Artists express hope that support from the Telangana government would strengthen their efforts and provide momentum to their cause
