Hours after assuming office, Donald Trump issued nearly 80 orders, undoing key decisions passed by the previous Biden administration. 

No more Birthright Citizenship

Donald Trump revoked the birthright citizenships in the US. "Automatic birthright citizenship for children of 'illegal aliens' born in the US will not be recognised," he said. 

Pardons for January 6 Rioters

Trump pardoned about 1,500 people, charged for attacking the US Capitol on Jan 6, 2021.  He also commuted the sentences of leaders of the 'Proud Boys' and 'Oath Keepers,' convicted for seditious conspiracy.

Paris Climate Agreement Withdrawal

To order withdrawal from the 2015 Paris Climate Agreement. He also issued orders to resume drilling in the vast Arctic territories and in the US coastal seas, previously halted by Biden.

US not Part  of WHO 

He claimed that World Health Organization botched the Covid- 19 epidemic and other health emergencies and withdrew the US from the WHO. He also accused WHO of not acting independently.

Delays  Tik Tok Ban

The President issued orders in delaying the ban of short-video sharing company Tik Tok by at least 75 days. The implementation of the ban on the app was originally scheduled for January 19.

Freezing Hiring in Federal Government 

Trump also issued orders to freeze hiring for federal government employees through  the executive branch.  He also directed all federal depts and agencies to terminate remote work arrangements.

US to only Recognise Two Genders

Revoking Biden's efforts to broaden gender identity designations on government documents, Trump issued orders to federal agencies to recognise only two genders - Male and Female.
