Hyderabad: The Jubilee Hills police on Wednesday booked G Sai Kumar, 23, a lorry cleaner, for allegedly abusing a five-year-old boy sexually at Prathibha Nagar. He allegedly lured the victim and his friend into his house by giving them chocolates.

According to the police, Sai Kumar and the two boys, both aged five years, were neighbours. Tuesday being a holiday, the boys were at home and Sai Kumar called them to his house, offering them chocolates.

He showed them some videos on his phone, and then began sexually abusing one of them, said S Venkat Reddy, Inspector, Jubilee Hills.

The boys, who understood he was doing something wrong, immediately left the house and later informed their parents.

Based on a complaint, a case under relevant sections of the Indian Penal Code and the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act was booked against Sai Kumar, who is absconding.  Efforts are on to nab him, police said.
