Youngster’s wallet with Rs 25K cash stolen during immersions in Hyderabad

Hyderabad: Unidentified persons allegedly stole the wallet of a youngster who had come to participate in the Ganesh idols immersion at Hussain Sagar lake here on Thursday late evening. The youngster Gopi was walking in the crowd on the bund enjoying the festivity when the wallet kept in the back pocket of his trouser was stolen. The wallet contained cash of Rs 25,000, credit and debit cards and other valid identity proofs, according to the victim, who informed the police outpost on the Tank Bund. Police are looking into the matter.
