Amaravati: AP Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu stated that the opposition YSR Congress party has been trying to damage the image of the State by provoking the public during every prominent occasion like National Women’s Parliament, National Science Congress, International Fleet Review, International Investment Promotion programme and many others, and warned that he would not allow them to do like that.
Chandrababu Naidu, while addressing the achievements of the NWP in a press conference here in Secretariat, stated that the YSRCP MLA Roja warned that she would disturb the Parliament, hence the police took action against her. He further supported the AP Speaker Kodela Sivaprasada Rao, in his earlier remarks on women community, which was controversial in news.
The chief minister stated that some media tampered Speaker’s voice and created allegations on him. He stated that there was nothing wrong in Speaker’s expression regarding women.
He explained that, the YSRCP was there behind the Tuni incident during International Fleet Review, it called the protest on Republic Day, a day before the International Investment Promotion, they provoked caste, region and religion during National Science Conference at Tirupati and now they tried to disrupt the NWP.
He warned the opposition that there was a limit for everything in the democracy and he would not let allow them to take the law and order into their hands by provoking the common man.
He said that the YSRCP president YS Jagan Mohan Reddy was a criminal and attending Courts on every Friday on corruption allegations. He blamed that the YS Jagan and the then Congress leaders tarnished the brand image of the state, on the global platforms and many of the investors still thinking about corruption in the state before entering here.
He stated that, the YSRCP is trying to damage the image of the state at the international events.
