The two companies recently completed the end-to-end Reduced Capability (RedCap) trial over a private 5G network and will showcase the technology during the upcoming 'Mobile World Congress' (MWC) 2025
Airtel will pilot and deploy the indigenous solution as part of its 5G rollout plans in India and begin the pilot in January 2022, as per the norms formulated by the government.
