Bollywood actor Govinda, 61, was hospitalised at CritiCare Hospital, Juhu, after fainting at home. He is under observation and undergoing tests. His lawyer and friend Lalit Bindal shared the update on Instagram, wishing him a speedy recovery.

As per preliminary information, the incident occurred when the actor was purportedly sprucing up the weapon while getting ready to leave home for some assignments, at around 5.15 a.m.

According to officials, the 60-year-old actor was taken for treatment to a nearby Criticare hospital and returned to his residence

He tested positive on Sunday morning and urged everyone who came in contact with him recently to get themselves tested.
