Hyderabad’s H-FAST has registered 185 cases and seized 121.87 tonnes of adulterated food in 100 days. The crackdown covered multiple zones and food categories, including meat, dairy, fruits and packaged items, with 247 cases referred for regulatory action.
Rachakonda Police booked 46 cases and arrested 52 individuals in a special drive against food adulteration. Raids led to seizures of adulterated ghee, paneer, ginger-garlic paste, and fake immunity tablets worth ₹10 lakh. Many lacked licenses or used counterfeit branding.
