Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy, addressing a public meeting in Adilabad, emphasised his ability to maintain cordial relations with the BJP-led Centre. He announced that work on the Adilabad airport would begin within a year, with an Airbus expected to land there.

The work, covering 80 percent of affected planes, caused 60–90 minute delays and four cancellations by Air India Express; IndiGo and Air India reported no cancellations, DGCA said.
