The Hyderabad water board imposed a Rs 20,000 penalty on premises used by Akshayakalpa Farms and Foods Private Limited in Jubilee Hills for using drinking water to clean floors. The board also temporarily disconnected the sewerage connection and warned of strict action against misuse of potable water.
