India’s maritime regulator, the Directorate General of Maritime Administration (DGMA), has issued an advisory directing ship owners, managers, and RPSL companies to refrain from deploying Indian seafarers on vessels transiting the Strait of Hormuz due to escalating security threats in the Gulf region.
