Eight 16-year-old students from a private coaching institute in Pune drowned while swimming off Diveagar beach in Maharashtra’s Raigad district on Thursday. Rescue teams retrieved all eight bodies, while police began investigating whether safety or supervision lapses contributed to the incident.
