The official 'Jeopardy!' account posted the clip on social media on Thursday (local time), and captioned it, "High on our list of things to be thankful for this year: Alex's Thanksgiving message from today's show. We hope you have a safe and happy Thanksgiving!"
According to The Hollywood Reporter, Trebek, who died at the age of 80 on November 8, continued working on the show while being treated for advanced pancreatic cancer.
"Jeopardy! is saddened to share that Alex Trebek passed away peacefully at home early this morning, surrounded by family and friends. Thank you, Alex," the show tweeted.
On Sunday(local time), the 44-year-old star Reynolds, shared a heartfelt tribute to Trebek on Twitter, revealing that the longtime 'Jeopardy!' host filmed a role in the upcoming sci-fi film, which has yet to have a release date
