Iran’s exiled crown prince Reza Pahlavi has called for closer Indo-Iran ties, emphasising shared civilisational heritage and common democratic values. Pahlavi urged international support for Iran’s democratic transition and highlighted India’s role as a natural partner in shaping a new chapter of bilateral relations.
Ali Larijani, an adviser to Iran's Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei, made the remarks in response to recent anti-Tehran threats made by US President Donald Trump and Israel, Xinhua news agency reported quoting the official news agency IRNA.
