During a trip to Japan, the 'Mean Girls' star had a transformative experience that taught her to appreciate natural beauty.

The recently held Golden Globes awards showed that occasion dressing needs to be respectful, not revengeful.

Though Amanda is not the casting director, she already has a few stars in mind when it comes to the character of Elphaba.

"Gary is the perfect person to work with, because he's not precious. If he's feeling insecure or frustrated, or he can't remember a line, or whatever it is that frustrates the hell out of people, it goes in and it goes out," Seyfried said.

"I became really obsessed with ghost stories when I was young, so my first memory is how comfortable and safe I felt exploring those tales," she said.

When asked to play "dumb blonde" Karen Smith, Seyfried said she was thrilled because Karen was similar to how she acted in high school to stay out of drama, reports variety.com.
