The Andhra Pradesh CID has launched a probe into the 2023 Parakamani theft at Tirumala’s Sri Venkateswara Swamy temple. The move follows a High Court directive after the TTD initially closed the case via Lok Adalat settlement

The CID has asked them to be present at home or appear before it either on March 29 or March 31 or April 3 or April 6.

A team of CID officers served the notice on the Narasapuram MP at his residence in Hyderabad. He has been directed to appear in person before the investigation officer at CID regional office, Guntur.
