India's Permanent Representative to the UN, P Harish, addressed the Security Council partly in Arabic, reaffirming New Delhi's support for Palestine, calling for urgent humanitarian action in Gaza and reiterating India's commitment to a sovereign, independent and viable Palestinian state.
